ELIKYA means "HOPE" in Lingala RD Congo and is of Bantu origin. Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events, expect with confidence. Growing up in Kinshasa, Séverine Rigaud, founder of ELIKYA, learned to embrace hope as a mean to value life and believe that everything is possible.
